Cuttable does not mean reconnectable by itself: a strip's cut marks establish where it may be shortened. They do not prove that a particular snap connector, extension lead, dimmer, or daisy-chain layout is compatible. Verify the complete connection system before cutting any shelf run.

Test the finished display, not an empty shelf
- Place the tallest book, darkest object, reflective frame, and most important collectible in their intended positions.
